What is Trichology?
Trichology was first founded in 1901 and involves the study of the hair and scalp.
A Trichologist is trained in multiple aspects of scalp health and hair health, including hair loss and regeneration. We have an in depth understanding of a variety of hair loss and scalp conditions, many of which we can offer efficient management or recovery techniques and/or treatments.
Since hair and scalp complaints are often a symptom of a further underlying issue, it's vital that during the consultation we take into account medical history, lifestyle and dietary factors.
Therefore a Trichologist is also trained in many areas of wellness, including hair related nutrition, anatomy, and some inflammatory diseases.
"A Trichology consultation is an investigation into your health. Our hair and scalp can have a direct reflection of our overall wellness."
